Display:
The new Macbook display, according to Apple, is "the best laptop display ever." Extreme dynamic range (XDR) liquid retina displays are a feature of these new displays, along with promotion technology that automatically adjusts the refresh rate of the panel up to 120 Hz. For video editors, it may be preferable to disable this option and switch to a fixed refresh rate. More than twice as bright as the MacBook Air, the display can reach peak brightness of 1600 nits and sustained brightness of 1000 nits. A 100,000:1 contrast ratio is also present.
Sound:
The new MacBook apparently competes with professional-grade microphones thanks to its studio-grade three mic array. The four force-cancelling woofers and six high performance tweeters of the six-speaker audio system fill the space with powerful bass and crystal-clear vocals. This speaker system also provides dolby atmos and spatial audio for the perfect audio experience.
Ports:
The macbook comes with 3x thunderbolt 4 ports, a hdmi port, a SDXC card slot, and the new magsafe charging connector.
Other features include the ability to connect up to three external display depending on what processor is in the laptop, and a 1080p webcam.
Price:
The starting price for the new Macbook Pros are A$3200 ($2000 USD) for the 14-inch model and A$4000 ($2500 USD) for the 16-inch one. Additionally, each Macbook may be customised with a variety of RAM and memory options.
